For the last year and a half, I have cared full-time for a sweet dementia client that sadly passed recently. Family references can be provided. Prior to that I was a staff member for a local church, so it is of my nature to help and serve others. My hobbies include cooking & baking, interior decorating, games, reading/research, & hosting friends in my home. I have no qualms with pets, including large dogs. I can't say enough good things about Holli. She took care of my 90-year-old mom who had dementia for about a year and a half until my mom passed a few weeks ago. Holli did an excellent job taking care of all my mom's physical needs such as toileting, bathing, standing and walking assistance. She prepared her meals beautifully and did light housekeeping. But what I loved most was how she talked and laughed with my mom and treated her with such dignity and was such a wonderful friend to her. Holli has a gift this area. It is definitely her calling. My mom loved her. The fact that my mom was crazy about her says a lot because my mom was not too fond of other caregivers. Mom lit up when Holli arrived. I thank God Mom had her for this last part of her life. Holli was a God send and I was so blessed that I found her. It took me a while to finally find Holli. Holli is very intelligent, reliable, conscientious, and a great communicator. Easy to work with. She is educated about dementia and listens to resources such as Teepa Snow.
