I recently moved from Albuquerque to Spring. I have over six years elder caregiving experience with clients in their own homes & residents with various levels of Dementia & Alzheimer's Disease in two assisted living facilities where I was medication certified. In my most recent position, I had the privilege of working for a wonderful family caring for their mother & father both in hospice care at home. I made meals, cleaned the family's home, shopped for groceries, gave showers & more. These two beautiful people have since passed. I was with the family from March 2022 through May 2024. My hourly rate was $30/hr. I'm comfortable with home care & hospice patients. The elderly deserve our care no matter their situation. I love to chat & hear about one's life history & experiences. I think outside the box & am patient with those who are confused or move slowly. I have large & small dogs as well as indoor cats. Most pets warm up to me quickly.

As I stand here keeping the home in order, I realize how much I miss Holli. She worked for us a number or years; starting out just helping with daily needs of my mother-in-law, who was in the last stages of Alzheimer's, transitioning to daily care of my father-in-law, who was slowly succumbing to heart failure, and ending as indispensable member of the household doing anything that needed to be done. She did most of the housekeeping for both the main house and the parents' casa, she managed all the doctor appointments and hospice care for both of them, she cooked their meals, she provided companionship and support in their last days, she performed all the daily living activities (i.e. dressing, bathing, toileting, feeding) as their functions declined, and she helped during and after the funerals with gathering pictures and cleaning out closets. She has many talents and strengths as a caregiver. I appreciated her flexibility as the conditions changed. I appreciated her oral and written communication to us everyday of activities, observations, and concerns. I appreciated her work ethic, always completing her tasks well and thoroughly. She brought some life to the home of my husband's parents. I highly recommend Holli; she will love and care for your loved ones and support you more than you can imagine.
