About Hillary

My name is Hillary, and I am a 30 y. o. professional with experience in babysitting/nannying, behavioral health, and working in academic settings with students that have high needs. I've always enjoyed working with littles, and not-so-littles. I am a creative person who enjoys being silly and adventurous with kiddos, and I can almost always pull a craft or activity out of thin air. I will climb trees with kids, and encourage them to try new things. One of my greatest strengths is consistency: routine and predictability is very important to all children, it's how they learn to trust their caregivers and it helps them feel safe. I have no issues cooking, cleaning, organizing, or brainstorming with caregivers about how to better meet a client's needs. I believe being flexible is an essential part of working in childcare, however, that doesn't make me a pushover! I recently finished a school year of working full-time in a self-contained, SPED classroom.
