About Helen

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient and honest... and humorous! I like caring for seniors because there are always life stories to be told. Seniors need to be heard. They hold an important place in our society, and need to be shown that. I'm looking for a job that I can bring value to someone's life. Whether that's through care, companionship, humor or just being that friendly smile to let them know someone cares. I started caring for seniors when I was a teenager volunteering at a nearby seniors home. That experience changed my life! In my spare time, I like to be creative. Whether that's in the kitchen creating new recipes or on a canvas, painting. One thing you should know about me is that I put 110% into everything I do. My skills include working with those with dementia, COPD and stroke. As well as keeping my friends engaged.
