About Helen

For as long as I can remember I have loved caring for children. As early as 14 years old, I began babysitting in my neighborhood, eager to help with young children. While I was born in the US, I lived in Mexico for 10 years and learned to read, write and speak Spanish fluently. I fell in love with the culture and of course, the food! Childhood is a very crucial part of our children's lives; this is the window of opportunity for us to teach our children various tools and lessons. I am proud to say that I've helped many families care for their children with attention and warmth. I deffer to the parents as to how they want their child to be raised, I am simply a re-enforcer of the parent's values and priciples. I do believe that children, especially in early stages, learn through play and I love to engage in activities that will help the child grow educationally. I also enjoy cooking and being a mommy's helper -I know how challenging juggling a lot can be.
