About Helena

Hi! I'm Helena, a mom of two with 6+ years of professional childcare experience. I spent three years as a preschool teacher and have also worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at an autism center, giving me extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and individual needs. I'm currently a senior at SIU studying Psychology and Sociology, and I especially enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences for kids through crafts, science experiments, outdoor activities, imaginative play, and age-appropriate learning. I'm dependable, patient, and comfortable maintaining routines and following each family's individual preferences. My goal is for parents to feel completely comfortable knowing their children are safe, supported, and having fun while they're away. I'm currently looking for part-time and occasional babysitting opportunities, including date nights and recurring care.
