About Helena

For over 2 years I had the pleasure of working at the Trails Recreation Center teaching children of 1-18years old how to swim and practice water safety. My class sizes ranged from just one child, to two, to sometimes 6 in one class. Through this job my love for children has just grew. Parents would always come up to me after lessons and thank me for taking the time to teach their children and always wanted to see me about private lessons for their kids. I love to be around kids and am very good at balancing what rules should be followed and having fun. I am very patient, caring, outgoing, and willing to do things around the house. I also have worked at a daycare for 4months with children ranging from newborn to 5years old. I was tasked with day to day feedings, diaper changes and potty training, as well as teaching different topics dependent on the age group.
