About Helena

Hi, my name is Helena! I grew up in Northern Minnesota, the oldest of three kids. Growing up with younger siblings, I babysat a lot. Some find it challenging or a chore, but my relationship with my siblings is one of the most important things in my life. I recently moved to the city, fulfilling a lifelong dream of mine. My degree is in Musical Theatre, so my passions lie in the creative realm. In a strange way, I see a correlation between the arts and childhood development. I've learned the importance of play as well as structure, relationships, and face-to-face connection. Faced as children are with what seems like endless distractions, I've come to value the importance of unmediated interaction. I know how our access to technology is directly affecting the way people communicate, learn, develop, and connect with others. I'll bring that awareness into your home. Thanks for considering! :)
