I have had six years of experience working with special needs children and adults. I have worked with young children diagnosed (at the time) with ADD and ADHD as well as various learning and emotional disabilities. My most experience now lies working with those diagnosed with autism. I spent the last two summers working at a summer camp where you live and spend every day with them. I worked with an 18-year-old woman on the autism spectrum on a one to one ratio as well as women on the autism spectrum raging from 18-50. I have also worked with individual who are seizure prone night runners, and some who are aggressive. I am very comfortable with both boys and girls as I love working with them. Working with special needs individuals has become a great passion of mine over the years as I love creating such a special bond with them. I am a confident and easy to work with career and treat them as the wonderful person they are before looking at them with their disability. Looking after your special child would be an honor.
