About Heidy

Credentials/Degrees: BA in Child Development + AA in Early Childhood Education + AA in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Currently pursuing my Masters in Education and frequently participating in professional development trainings. I have worked professionally with children of all ages (3-13) in various settings for the past 10 years (substitute teacher, instructional aide, 1-1 tutor, intervention aide, dance instructor, nanny, and after school program leader at multiple distinguished public/private institutions). I have also worked with children in a volunteer capacity for over 12 years now (pediatric hospital settings, non-profits). I specialize with working with young children between ages 3-7. I have experience with creating/delivering lesson plans that cater to individual needs. In addition to helping children feel confident in reaching their academic potential, my goal is to ensure that children feel safe and have all their basic/emotional/social needs met.
