About Heidy

Hi! I am the oldest daughter of a Latino family and have experience working with kids of all ages. Having helped take care of my two younger siblings while giving a little extra effort and attention to my sister with autism, I understand how important patience is. Wanting to become a pediatrician in the future and possibly even become a part time middle school teacher, I have always enjoyed working with kids. I have done things like volunteering with kids with organizations like NYSOM, teaching kids in the BZ, and tutoring kids all throughout college! For example, right now I am preparing for an Teach for America fellowship in the fall where I get to tutor kids. I am extremley flexible, and would love the opportunity to work with you!!
