About Heidy

Although I am not a certified teacher, I hold a master's degree in social work and have accumulated three years of experience working in a school setting. In my role, I provide supportive guidance to students, tutoring in after-school programs, and leveraging my three years of child care work experience. My passion for supporting children's emotional and academic needs has been a constant since high school, where I began working with young students. I am dedicated to helping children succeed in life by addressing their individual needs and fostering their emotional well-being. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am open to tutoring students in either language. My comprehensive background in social work, combined with hands-on experience in educational and child care settings, uniquely positions me to offer effective and compassionate support to students. My goal is to create a nurturing environment that promotes both academic success and personal growth.
