About Heidi

Supporting the independence and well-being of seniors is something I am passionate about. Beginning in high school and college, I worked in a nursing home, helping to feed people their meals and as a nurses aide. I have a BS in Occupational Therapy (1993) and initially worked at Moss Rehab Hospital in Philadelphia, with people who had sustained an amputation, a stroke, a traumatic brain injury and other diagnoses. Later I worked in a nursing home providing therapy for short term and long term residents. For the past 20 years I have worked as a home therapist, working with older adults providing training and education, helping individuals relearn how to do their daily activities. I love problem solving with the people I work with and their families, working together to increase their independence and safety in the home. I am skilled in providing personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping and dementia and memory care. I would love to help you and/or your family member.
