For many years I have worked as a caregiver in several capacities. I have worked with disabled adults in group homes, worked as a private nanny, and worked as a caregiver for seniors in their homes. My background prior to that includes working as a professional pastry chef and also as an art instructor for adults with disabilities. Here in Michigan I ran a licensed home daycare so that I could earn and be with my children. In these positions I have cooked, supported and mentored, been a companion, assisted with ADL and medication administration, transported, and kept up with housekeeping. I'm steady and responsible and I can work flexible schedule. Supporting your busy family's needs comes first. For me the most important aspect of childcare and senior care is being fully present and engaged. I have dependable transportation . I am looking forward to meeting you and your family! Heidi has been with us for approximately 6 months now and we could not be happier!! She cares for our 2 year old son as well as our (now) newborn daughter. She has always been incredibly punctual (despite our need for early morning arrival times!) and super flexible, which is vital considering my shift work. Not only does she keep our toddler happy but she keeps our home tidy which is a huge bonus for two working parents. Heidi goes above and beyond for our family, and we can tell that she loves our kids as if they were her own. She has quickly become a wonderful addition to our family, and we look forward to a continued relationship with her, including well past when our children our grown. You won't regret hiring her for your family!
