I became a CNA in 1998 after my grandmother passed away. I grew up very close to my grandmother. We spent every weekend together. I felt like a way to honor her when she passed away. It made me feel close to her. Now in the year 2026 I have many years of caregiving experience. Hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, behavioral health, and working in the community in home care.
