Hello Vancouver Washington parents! I am looking for a position working with one to three infants and or toddlers no more than four days a week. I have years of experience working as a nanny and I have also worked in a nanny share with three to for infants and toddlers. I truly love this work which is why I do it. I have completed an ECE course and have two years experience working as the lead teacher in an accredited preschool teaching the three's class. Before Covid-19 I was the director of a volunteer organization working closely with children ages 0-18. It is not uncommon for kids to tell me that I am like a teacher or that I should work with kids. I am creative and engaging. I know how to communicate and set clear boundaries that allow children to feel safe to learn and grow. I have references that would love to talk to you and share the great work I have done for them and with their sweet little ones. Let's talk! I live in Vancouver and would like to work in Washington state.

Heather has been with our family since January, and she has provided incredible care for our son, who just turned 1. She has independently sought out and connected our son to activities in our community (i.e. story time at the library), and after just 7 months he truly has become ingrained in the local scene here. =) She has also provided the consistency and dependability that is critical for a child's development and sense of safety. We're sad to be losing her due to relocation, but we're also excited and happy for the next family who welcomes her into their child's life. My wife and I would be more than happy to speak with anyone considering Heather as their child care provider.
