About Heather

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, creative and organized I like working with kids because they soak up knowledge and life skills while having fun. I'm looking for a job that I can enjoy and that utilizes my education and real life experiences. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. In my spare time, I like to be creative and artistic with refurbishing wood furniture, sewing, painting and gardening. One thing you should know about me is that as a single parent who has raised two successful college graduates, I know how to be structured and firm when needed as well as playful and tender. My skills include teaching through example, patience when warranted and having fun through engagement.
