I began my journey as a nanny when the pandemic began and I fell in love with the profession. I have worked with kids as young as 5 months and up to 5 years, in multi-child house holds, as well as in a nanny share. I'm originally from the Boston area so I have experience in both walkable and not-so walkable neighborhoods. I work hard to be a functional part of the household and would love to bring that energy to you and yours.

Heather cared for our two young children (11/12 months and 2.5 years old). She was very pleasant and dependable. Given the ages of our children, we knew multi-tasking would be important. So we were very happy with her strong skills in preparing meal plans and household chores. She worked for us for 3 weeks before giving her 2 weeks notice. Unfortunately, family obligations prevented her from completing the 2 weeks. Heather took feedback well and seemed open to learning a new way to care for and work with children. Heather seemed reticent to soothe the children and engage in fun games/play/song compared with our prior nanny; additionally, typical toddler dispositions overcome through patience and empathy, proved frustrating for her. My sense is that Heather would be better suited to care for older children if she is still interested in pursuing a career in childcare. While we were disappointed she quit so soon, we understand and believe it was the best for all involved.
