About Heather

Hi everyone! My name is Heather. I have a PhD in Elementary Education, with a specific focus on elementary math! I also earned a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Masters degree in Developmental Psychology. I have experience working with teachers, students, and in educational research. If you are looking for enrichment services, supplemental instruction, or a little extra support for your child. I would be happy to provide additional information or answer any questions. I strongly believe that all learning should be interactive, engaging, and fun. It should also align with your child's learning needs. When planning for instruction, I draw from curriculum and research-based practices. I work full-time as a Senior Mathematics Learning Scientist with a digital curriculum company and work as an adjunct professor at NC state. However, the teacher in me still loves working with students! I have a passion for education and hope to share that with you and your child!
