I have been a professional nanny for 26 wonderful years. I also have been an Assistant Teacher and a nanny for special needs children. I believe that all children are special and true gifts. We had a wonderful experience with Heather as our nanny and would recommend her to any family.
Heather cared for our son from the time he was 6 months old until 18 months old. She helped with his transition from bottles to solid foods and consistently kept him engaged with fun, age-appropriate activities. She regularly took him to music classes, on walks, and to the park, and was always attentive and nurturing. In addition to excellent childcare, Heather also helped with weekly laundry and light housekeeping, which made a big difference in our day-to-day routine.
She is reliable, kind, and very communicative. We are grateful for the care she provided and would recommend her to any family looking for a trustworthy and caring nanny.

Heather joined our family when my son was 7 months old, when our parental leave was up. From the start, Heather has been great at implementing the routine we set for our son and adapting as his needs changed. She was a wonderful help as we navigated through sleep training, transitions to solid foods and first steps. I appreciated her suggestions throughout it all being a new parent and being willing to work with us as we found what worked best for our son. Heather helped create an environment for my son to feel nurtured/safe as he grew. She’s always been patient and kind with our little boy. 

Heather keeps my husband and I informed of how our son’s day goes, writing down key things like meals, and naps as well as being sure to pass along any other helpful information (signs of teething, preferences in foods, etc.)

Heather has been great at getting our son outside of the house, with multiple walks a day when the weather allows, trip to the local library, and children museum. She’s built a great relationship with him, knowing his likes and dislikes, and thoughtfully bringing presents for him (and our cat!) on holidays/birthdays. 

We’ll miss having Heather as our family needs change this year.  


Heather has a calm energy that was great in our house with 2 under 2. She was flexible with coming in early when needed. Only worked with her for a few months because she moved out of state.

We loved having Heather as our nanny and we were so sad when our time with Heather ended (our fault)! Heather is extremely punctual and reliable. She was our nanny from winter to summer of 2022. Heather was great with our one year old son and was a huge help to us! She was dedicated, loving, calm, kind, and patient with our son and was diligent with outside time, reading, flash cards, and other learning activities. 

Heather also provided great insight and suggestions for new parents from her experience. She also was diligent in fostering our son's intellectual growth and milestone/meal tracking. 

Our growing family lead to mom staying home - this is the ONLY reason Heather isn't still with us. We love Heather and would hire her back in a second and she is still at the top of our list for any babysitting/childcare needs!

Heather joined our family when our sweet little boy was only four months old.  She quickly bonded with our son and cared for him as her own. When Heather came into our home, it was a very vulnerable time as Mom was going back to work full-time. Heather made both parents feel at ease with their son in her care. She was very nurturing and gentle with our little boy.  We felt very comfortable and trusting of Heather.  Heather willingly helped with simple chores around the house when baby was sleeping.  She was great at reading him several stories throughout the day, provided recommendations of toys throughout his different stages of development, and always made sure our son came first. We highly recommend her to any family looking for a kind heart to watch your little one.  Heather genuinely became apart of our family.  We were heartbroken when we had to go our separate ways due to an unforeseen move to another city. Our son truly adored Ms. Heather and we have continued to keep in touch.

Heather watched our newly adopted twins from infant to 2 years. We were very nervous about having someone come in our home to watch our babies, especially since  due to  several failed fertility treatments we had waited over 8 years to have a family. She immediately became part of our family. We had to change our schedule frequently due to our work schedules and she was always flexible and accommodating. She was so kind and gentle with our kids, but also so fun. We could often find them curled up in her lap while she read stories to them. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Unreliable -- never worked scheduled hours.  We prepaid her to assist her income needs and she did not fulfill mutually agreed upon work commitment.

Heather provided wonderful care, attention and love to my 2 year old daughter. She created an atmosphere of education - helping my daughter learn her letters, numbers and overall verbal skills.  Heather also stressed physical activity - knowing that children need a balance of not only mental but active play as well.  Heather would take her to the library, various stores and local parks which provided her with fun, fresh air and an outlet for her toddler energy level!

She applied for the job. But unfortunately the timings didn't match with what i was looking for.

Heather has been taking care of my daughter for the last few weeks as I needed a temporary nanny. She has been very good with her, takes her for walks on a good day. We have been very happy with her and so is my daughter. She is 5 months old and as soon as she sees Heather she laughs and giggles with joy and stretches her arms so Heather can pick her up and play with her. She ha been very accommodating when I needed her to stay late or come early.
