About Heather

I am a patient tutor who works well with children who have trouble studying, directing their attention to their work, or simply have a bit of trouble understanding a subject. I understand children's frustration when not being able to understand their homework and help teach them skills such as study habits, self soothing techniques to calm them when frustrated, and of course help in the subject they are having difficulty with. I start college at Delta in March to get my Bachelor's in International Business. I have mostly taught English Reading/Writing skills and Elementary Math but can cover all subjects.

Heather was a short term Nanny for us before our Children returned back to school on Tuesday. She is very polite, we talked lots and I loved that she sent me text updates on the kiddos throughout the day! I would have hired her for their long term after school care but unfortunately she is looking for a full time gig. Heather cared for our 4 Children age 3M, 2Y, 6Y, & 9Y old. She handled all Sports pick ups and drop offs, as well as transported them to their Grandparents for us. She provided all meals for the kids during the day and also made dinner a few times. She handled Laundry and just made sure the house was in the same condition we left it in, sometimes even better depending on how much down time they gave her.
