About Heather

I have always loved being of assistance to others. I have more than 6 years experience working with adults with disabilities through Liberty Resources. I worked with ages ranging from 20s through 70s and managed most of their daily needs including medication distribution, showering, meal preparation, transportation to and from appointments, personal hygiene care, and did so in a gentle and compassionate way. In my field, I was also trained to manage mental and physical behavioral issues in a safe and effective way. I also worked with individuals in their homes by providing entertainment and caring for their personal needs. I learned how to use a medical lift to transfer someone with cerebral palsy to and from his bed and wheelchair. I only left this field due to the birth of my now 3-year-old. For the last 3 years, I have been a loving and nurturing nanny to other little ones.
