About Heather

My child care experience first started in 2012. I was a preschool teacher's aide for ages 3-4. At that time I also started tutoring a 3-year-old at the local homeless shelter. My specialty is helping children develop their fine motor skills. Later, I became a nanny for one child (female) for three years (age 7-10). I also was a part time teacher's aide for Kindergarten and fist grade during this time while she was at school. There I worked one on one with children in whatever subject they needed most. I also worked with groups of 5-8 children teaching them math concepts. After this, I moved to China for a year to teach English. I taught university students and preschool students aged 3-4. Over all I love children! I love to teach and watch them grow. I am currently taking two classes online to receive my B. A. in Psychology with a minor in Art from Roberts Wesleyan College. These will be completed at the end of July.
