Hi! I'm Heather. I have been working in a preschool in San Marcos (on/off) since 2001. I started working there as a teacher/driver/activities coordinator & field trip supervisor for the Before & After School Program. I worked with children ages 5-11. During that time, I also attended community college, focusing on Child Development courses. After finishing 12 units, I became a PreK Teacher at the center, focusing on preparing 4s+5s for Kindergarten. During my 20+ years at the center, I have also worked in the kitchen, preparing snacks & lunches for 20-60 kids/day. In addition to those positions, I was the Assistant Director. Currently I am taking a break (possibly permanently) to find something that is more accommodating to my needs/schedule. Part time and/or sub work in a family home, or a center would be ideal. Heather takes great, loving care of my dog whenever I go on vacation. He loves cuddling and playing with her. Heather helps him not miss his daddy as much while I’m away. He’s always happy to see her.
