About Heather

Hi, my name is Heather and I am making a career change from group care, 5 star childcare settings to a single family home. My goal is to start my own business soon and balance my second, part-time job as a figure skating coach. That being said, I have 10 years of teaching and childcare experience, 7 of which were at 5 star daycares for long periods of time, an Associates degree in Early Childcare Care and Education. My specialty is infants, as I have been a lead infant teacher for 4 consecutive years. I have experience in sanitary diaper changing procedures, potty training, and early education. I am certified in CPR/First Aid/SIDS. As far as interpersonal communication, I am a very professional and kind hearted caregiver. I currently have no children of my own, so your child(ren) will be my primary focus. I'm very creative and can plan any activity on a whim! Qualifying Letter I am also a published author of a children's book. I would love to meet and work with you and your family!
