My name is Heather I am 35 years old and live in Steger. I have 18years of home care experience, and have been a certified nursing assistant for 16 of those years. I am certified in both Indiana and Illinois. I have an up to date CPR card and clean background. Being a caregiver is not just a job it is a career for me. My clients are treated with the utmost respect and dignity. I keep them as independent as possible while maintaining them with a safe environment. Being a caregiver for these past 17 years have opened my eyes to a lot. Not everyone has someone that can be there when needed, that's where I can come in and help out. My service include but are not limited to companionship. housekeeping, adl's (activities of daily living), medication reminders, cooking and errands. Not only do I have home care experience but I also have rehab, nursing home, assisted living, hospital and hospice experience. I also have Alzheimer's, dementia, and stroke experience.

We hired Heather to help care for our 87 year old mom. Our mom was was having a difficult time caring for herself, getting around and remembering things. Heather was very knowledgeable, professional, caring and always stayed on-top of things. Heather managed all of our moms medical appts, medications and provided the care our mother needed. The care and friendship Heather provided was beyond what we could have imaged. Heather became a friend to our mother and we felt like she was part of the family. Our mom has since passed away and we couldn't be more grateful to Heather for being there for our mom. Heather was an excellent caregiver and we highly recommend her!
