About Heather

I have had numerous nanny jobs, all before 2020, and am hoping to transition back into this role! My experience with childcare started in my own childhood while my mom owned a home daycare- I had a wonderful role model for this profession from an early age. I have been working as a CNA in a hospital for 4 years, and am well versed in infant, pediatric, and adult CPR. I am comfortable with specific medical needs such as feeding tubes, tracheostomies, administering medication as directed by parents, etc. I have experience with formula, handling breast milk, introducing solids, and feeding approaches that foster a healthy relationship with food. In addition to these things, I know quite a bit about random things such as car seat safety, BLW, gentle parenting techniques, and patterns in infancy/childhood that help form a secure attachment. It would be an honor to find a family that would welcome me into their home and trust me with their little one(s) care!
