About Heather

Hi, I have been a special education teacher for the last 18 years, which I love! I also have been a nanny to twin infant boys and their brothers, 2 and 4. I have my Master's degree in Elementary Education and have been trained in dyslexia intervention. I have raised three beautiful daughters that are now young adults. In addition to teaching I also worked as a Behavior Interventionist, working with children with autism. I love working with children of all ages as well as children and adults with disabikities. I'd describe my personality as patient, kind, calm. In my spare time, I like to read, go for a run, garden, hike, walk my dogs. One thing you should know about me is I am very patient and love working with kids of all ages and abilities. I really love working as a teacher. I enjoy being active and keeping kids engaged in ways that don't involve lots of screen time. I look forward to hearing from you!
