Hello, My name is Heather I have been a CNA for over 15 years. I really enjoy being an at-home caregiver. People have always said I in am a people person and, I believe taking care of people is what I was meant to do. I find so much happiness in taking care of others loved one's and the relationships that are created are truly priceless. I have a lot of experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia and have found it is one of my specialties and have learned so much about what to do and what not to do for people. I find one of the keys to Dementia as well as anything is communication and, being able to be patient and understanding. To get to know who they are and what they like to do is so important. Over the years I have found creative activities as well as other ways to approach daily living that help my clients enjoy life. I care for each of my clients as if they were my own. I take the time to create a positive bond and, relationship.

She was really just what we needed. Very pleasant and engaging with the client as well as the family. Knowledgeable on basic medical procedures and very comfortable in dealing and interacting with people with Dementia. Always willing to help with anything that was needed. Went out of her way to make the client comfortable, and feel good about herself and treated her with the dignity she deserved. I can say she truly cares about the families she works with. It's just in her nature. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a caretaker for a friend or loved one.
