About Heather

I am willing to pet sit while you are away! I have a four year degree in environmental biology and an MA in English. I worked as a receptionist and assistant at an emergency vet clinic for over a year, and I have also worked at a dog daycare and grooming facility for over a year. Leaving these jobs was due to pursuing my MA and career as an editor. I currently work as an editor from home, so I have great availability for pet sitting! I am in my thirties, and I've had a lot of personal pet experiences in my lifetime. Ive had both large and small dogs, as well as cats. I recently lost my 15-year-old Aussie mix, and I am very comfortable with elderly pets. I also have a deaf 8-year-old cat, and a 5-year-old cat. I've had other dogs and cats previously, and was responsible for administering insulin to a family cat for many years (as well as in a clinic setting and for recent clients). I would love to meet your pet and help you out in any way I can!
