About Heather

Nurturing children and supporting families is a passion of mine. I have worked with children since the age of 13, including as an early childhood educator in a daycare center, and have raised four children. Most recently, I cared for a family with four children, three of whom had autism at varying levels. I am comfortable caring for children with special needs and providing compassionate individualized care. I bring patience, warmth, and empathy to every interaction. I understand that every child is unique and strive to create a safe, consistent environment through positive reinforcement, redirection, age-appropriate activities, creative play, and fun! I will work closely with your family to support learning, homework, and each child's changing needs. I am also happy to assist with errands, carpooling, light housekeeping, and travel.
