About Heather

Hi there!! I'm Heather! I've been working with children and families for over 14 years as a preschool teacher and nanny. I'm also currently going back to school online for my bachelor's degree in psychology. I like to think I'm the best of both worlds! I'm responsible, dependable, patient, and professional, but also energetic, creative, and never afraid to be silly! I love being outside, exploring, creating art, playing games, and finding ways to make everyday things fun! With my background in early childhood education, I have a strong understanding of child development, emotional regulation, and positive behavior guidance. I love getting to know children for who they are, helping them build confidence and independence, and creating relationships with families that feel comfortable and genuine. I'm a big believer in always growing and learning, and I take a lot of pride in the person I am and the work I do. Feel free to message me if you think we'd be a good fit!
