About Heather

I'd describe my personality as warm, observant, empathetic. I like working with kids because I love seeing the world through their eyes, and being able to find wonder in the little things with them. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I'd always been interested in caring for kids and started with babysitting my neighbor's kids. I began working in a childcare center at 18 after graduating highschool with my EEC preschool teaching certification due to the Child Study program at my highschool. In my spare time, I like to be creative, read a book and spend time in nature! One thing you should know about me is I am dedicated to creating a warm, safe environment for children and I strongly believe children are so much more capable than adults often give them credit for.
