About Haylie

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, energetic, and kind hearted. I like working with kids because I love being able to see children blossom into their own person. And just being apart of the journey is magical. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding and fulfilling but also a job that allows me to still be able to be a successful student. I started working with kids when I was in high school, I had an internship at my old elementary school (Learning Without Limits) to provide student support (6 months). Currently, I work at Children's Fairyland in Oakland and I've been here for about half a year. In my spare time, I like to go on hikes, cook, hangout with friends, and go to the beach. One thing you should know about me is I am a diabetic. It is under control and I am very good about managing it. My skills include patience, communication, and problem solving.
