About Hayla

Hello! My name is Hayla and I have been working with kids for over four years professionally. I have experience and training in non-distress play including sensitivity and positive regard through my research at Stony Brook University. I have 4 years of babysitting experience ranging from infant to teenagers. I am also have had my EMT certification for the past year meaning I am CPR certified and am trained in the heimlich for all ages, including infants. When not babysitting, I work in a pediatrics office as an intern. I am working to become a pediatrician doctor myself because I genuinely love to work with kids and take every opportunity I can to create a fun and safe environment for them. I can also help with Light Housekeeping and Cooking/Meal Preparation. I believe that I am absolutely qualified and want to make you feel comfortable letting me care for your kids.
