About Hawa

When we interviewed Hawa, the position was to be live-in. Before we hired her, however, the patient's needs changed. Needs have continued to change, and Hawa has been extremely flexible. This has been one less thing for us to worry about. She has also been extremely proactive in recognizing health red flags, contacting doctors' offices, pointing out medication discrepancies so we could resolve them with the doctors. She has even helped us find caregivers for the hours she is unavailable - without us even asking. She has formed a bond with her patient, has learned her favorite foods and outings, but has also recognized the patient's habits that put her at health risk. She communicates with us right away, which is reassuring. Hawa has met our expectations and gone beyond.
