Be there to help them when family are unable to be there. I'm looking for a job that, allows me to help people. I started caring for seniors when, I was a housewife and stay at home mom for 25 years. I started caring for my mother full time. And have worked full time as a caregiver since 2013 In my spare time, I like to quilt, read books, go on trips with my husband and spend time with my family. My skills include assisted with oxygen, meal prep, driving to and from appointments running errands, light housekeeping, helping with daily activities, dressing, grooming bathing, med reminders, administer oral prescribed medications, as written direction by Doctor or home care nurse, help to fill pill boxes. Hattie is a very caring , reliable and responsible caregiver . She sat with my mom for over five years.. Mom had dementia needed help from her chair into the wheelchair and into her bed. She helped bathe Mom dress her and anything else that needed to be done.. she worked days when I had to work she worked every Saturday night so we could go to mass. She never called out not even in a snowstorm. She treated Mom as if she was her own and Mom loved having her around.. I would highly recommend Hattie.
