About Harriet

I'm a certified teacher in GenEd and SPED with a masters degree in education! I spent 8 years teaching elementary special and general education. My teaching career includes experience with a range of grades, from kindergarten through 8th ( and one year with high school students). I have experience teaching science, math, social skills, and test prep. I left teaching a couple years ago and I've spent the last year and a half nannying, but I'm looking to add some tutoring hours! In addition to my teaching experience, I have 3 years of full time nanny experience so I'm completely comfortable with parents leaving to run errands, etc. during sessions. I love planning fun and engaging activities so my students learn without even realizing they're learning! I am certified in infant, child and adult CPR, am fully vaccinated, and comfortable around all pets. I am happy to tutor in any space you feel comfortable with!
