I've thoroughly cleaned in every job I've had since I was 14 years old. At a plant nursery I was in charge of keeping the potting shed and appliance room in order that transferred into landscaping skills such as attention to detail. At the Beacon, a southern Italian bistro in Boone, NC, I worked a variety of jobs such as dishwasher, prep cook, caterer, bar back, and serving assistant. Wherever the boss and head chef needed me to be, I was there. I effectively balanced multiple tasks such as cleaning all dishes, sweeping and mopping the kitchen, cleaning bathrooms, setting up and taking down the dining area for special events, setting up and bussing tables, napkin folding, decorative plant care, and window washing. As a dietary aid at a rental retirement community this past summer, I power washed the kitchen monthly, organized the food cabinet, refrigerator and freezer, and did daily laundry. I'm ready for virtually any household chore and uphold to do them well.
