About Harper

I'm a college senior and a life-long New Yorker who loves working with kids. From babysitting during Middle School and High School to my SHSAT test prep tutoring experience at MS 244, working with kids has always made me hopeful for the future and brought me so much purpose. I have experience tutoring students from 2nd grade to high school in a variety of subjects, and have been an after-school counselor for rising-Kindergarteners over the summer. I am someone who cares a lot about truly listening to children's needs and being a supportive outlet or mentor in all sorts of environments. I love arts and crafts, story-telling, and games, but I'm also happy to play more of a removed role, allowing the kids space to do their own thing, but being available whenever they need something. I also am happy to complete housework or errands. In my spare time, I like to spend time in nature, read books, take photos, play piano, and draw. I also am a big movie person, and I love going to concerts!
