About Harley

The best part about working with kids is when I can see that I've impacted their life in a positive way. While working as an art teacher, nothing made me happier than when a child would thank me for how much I had helped them improve their drawing skills. I started working with kids when I was 16 and decided to get a job at an after school daycare program. I had no idea what to expect at first, but quickly learned that I loved working with kids! I then went on to work as an elementary school art teacher while I was in college. After college, I spent some time living in Japan where I taught English to junior high school students. Seeing and hearing my students progress throughout the school year was the most fulfilling experience of all. In my spare time, I like to be creative. I love drawing, painting, filmmaking, you name it! I love trying out new art techniques and teaching others how to create art as well.
