About Hannah

Hello! I am an experienced, licensed Special Educator for grades K-12. I am also licensed in Elementary Education, and English Language Arts, grades 6-12. I was the lead Special Education case manager at a high school in Denver for 7 years before moving to become a Denver Public Schools district level administrator, where I've been for the last year. Before starting my formal teaching career, I volunteered as a tutor, worked summer camps for people with disabilities, and TA'd at a theatre camp! I am trained in trauma-informed education practices and have experience leading trainings on this for adults. I really miss being in the classroom and around students-- they are far and beyond the best part about working in education. I love to be silly and caring with my students, and I will be their biggest and consistent cheerleader. I believe that everyone wants to learn and be successful, and it is my philosophy and role to empower them to reach their goals.
