About Hannah

I am an early childhood special educator and graduate student who exemplifies empathy and compassion to positively support all children of all abilities. I strive to facilitate an all-inclusive, warm, and fun environment that promotes young children's sense of belonging, embraces diversity, encourages innovative thinking and autonomy, and nurtures a community of kindness. I teach from a trauma-informed and diversity-informed lens, understanding that each child has different expectations of engaging with materials and interacting with peers based on their own experiences and that every behavior is a message, not a challenge. Before working at a Pre-K-1st Grade school in Yarmouth, I have three years of experience as a part-time summer nanny and a full-time nanny. I have a Bachelor's degree in Childhood Development and Family Relations and a Minor in Psychology. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Special Education Early Intervention.
