About Hannah

As the eldest of three sisters, I grew up with the joy of helping take care of little ones. I began babysitting in my teens and have continued looking after children (infants to middle schoolers) through college and beyond. My role as a nanny has been largely shaped by my own parents, who showed me how to be responsible, have a positive attitude and enjoy learning. Now, as a parent myself, I am even more aware of the important place a trusted nanny is able to fill in a family's life. A typical day under my care requires that I engage (and include the children as appropriate) in activities such as cooking, grooming, singing, reading, creating artwork, exercising, and tidying. I find purpose in caring for kids and enjoy helping mold them into the people they will become!

I cannot recommend Hannah highly enough! She is that rare caregiver who is as instinctively sensitive to a baby's developing needs and personality as she is articulate and passionate about her own commitment to childcare. She had our infant daughter smiling and cooing within moments of meeting her, and proceeded to wow me and my husband with her kindness, thoughtfulness, and good humor. I was especially grateful for her nuanced understanding of the complicated feelings a mom faces when seeking childcare for the first time! She is also extremely knowledgeable about infant and early childhood development, but still flexible and non-judgmental: a rare and wonderful combination. We felt confident that she would support and reinforce our parenting decisions while bringing a warmth and wisdom all her own to our daughter's care. Although we weren't able to hire Hannah as our day-to-day nanny for reasons having nothing to do with her qualifications or personality, we look forward to calling upon her for night and weekend jobs, and would hire her in the future and recommend her to friends warmly and without hesitation!
