About Hannah

3 words to describe me: caring, thoughtful & whimsical! I like working with kids because they are constantly learning & growing. It's rewarding to provide a safe place for kids to be themselves, grow confidence, & be curious. I've worked with kids since I was a tween helping out the neighbors. Later I was a babysitter & swim instructor. Last summer, I worked as an outdoor educator with NatureBridge. Now I'm a TK paraeducator & afterschool volunteer for a science program. In my spare time, I like to do crafts & play board/card games! One thing you should know about me is that I take a restorative justice approach to conflict. When kids face challenges, I encourage them to talk it out & find empathy. Every kid is different, but we all want to be understood, so I take the time to do so. My strengths include CPR & first aid, emotional intelligence, & a background in biology--particularly aquatic ecosystems.
