About Hannah

Hi, my name is Hannah! In 2016 I began working with kids as a Childcare Associate and then Summer Camp Counselor at the Youth program in Portland, Maine. I went on to work at Kids' Corner, an After School Program in Winchester, Massachusetts where I became a Lead After School Teacher in the 2nd/3rd grade room. When the pandemic hit, I moved to Sacramento, California to be closer to my family and offered enrichment with Kids' Corner until May 2021. I currently work as a classroom aide to children with extra needs, and after school I tutor/babysit a 5th grade boy a couple of nights a week. As a caretaker, I strive to make every child feel safe being themselves. I love to be silly, read aloud, color and play pretend and can find a connection with most children. I am patient, non-judgmental, and want to be as supportive as I can. I graduated from Washington State University in 2013 with a B. A. in English and a Global Leadership Certificate.
