About Hannah

Hi, my name is Hannah! I have worked with kids for almost 7 years in a variety of settings. I started my experience with kids at a day care center at a gym, then became a camp counselor for a summer, and then transitioned into full time nannying in summers when I wasn't in school. During the school year I babysat on weekends and after school. I have worked with kids who have multiple disabilities both physical and cognitive. I have experience with feeding tubes, administering meds, mobility devices and am wiling to learn! I welcome LGBTQ families. I have held a RedCross lifeguard certification for 8 years. I hold a water safety certification as well meaning I can teach swim lessons. I have studied American Sign Language for 6 years and can communicate effectively. When working with kids I use challenge by choice, so we push their comfort zone limits at their pace. It allows them to feel comfortable and safe in their growth.
