About Hannah

Children are my passion and they have been since I myself was a child! I began as a mamma's helper at a young age and by the time I was 12, I was babysitting regularly. Fast forward 12 more years and I've had the honor and privilege of working with 50 or so different families as an occasional babysitter or regular nanny. I spent a few months in Uganda volunteering at two different orphanages/babies homes where I learned the art of multitasking and efficiently meeting the needs of a roomful of children. For me, my goal in watching children is not only to keep the tiny humans alive, but to take every opportunity to teach, train and invest in them. Children are a gift, not a burden, and I love getting to know the unique treasures within each child as I seek to build a trusting and meaningful relationship in which I can help them grow. My love for children and families has led me to becoming a doula, and that will require flexibility every once in a while if one of my mothers is in labor.
