About Hanako

Hi! My name is Hanako and I recently moved to Minneapolis from Maine. I am seeking work in part time childcare, particularly in evenings and weekends. My experience in childcare comes from years of working in overnight outdoor programs. This work has required me to be responsible for the physical safety and emotional wellbeing of large groups of kids at a time, and has set me up very well to seek childcare opportunities in the front country! In addition, I am Wilderness First Responder, CPR and Wilderness Water Safety certified, have a drivers license with clean record, and my own vehicle. I love working with kids because I love working with people- I am social, playful, and curious, constantly looking for opportunities to connect. I find that I'm constantly learning from, and laughing with, the kids I work with. I also appreciate getting to support parents and be an extra set of hands in stressful moments. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with you!
