I have more than 9 years of experience as a nanny, working specifically with infants & toddlers. In addition, I am a mother of two grownup girls. I am a nanny who enjoys spending time with the children, watching them grow through the years. I enjoy doing various activities with the kids such as taking a walk, going to the park, playing, singing and reading. Our 6 month old infant at that time had some difficulty with sleeping through the night and we needed some help.  Hamsa took charge right away with a natural confidence that comes with decades of experience.  It was clear immediately with how well she handled our fussy baby with gentleness, maternal intuition, and sense of security that quickly calmed our son.  Over time, she had trained our son to sleep through the night and trained us as well with great advice. She is meticulous with every detail of our son with nightly logs and requires us to give her a detailed heads up of our son's day (feedings, naps, medications) prior to her shift.  She wants to be prepared before her shift.  A true professional.  She is hard working and has gone several nights at  a time without missing a beat.  I highly highly recommend Hamsa! Hamsa has been taking care of our two kids 3-5 years old so we can have a night out since September 2023. She has been absolutely brilliant and the kids ask for her and miss her when they haven&#39;t seen her. 

Hamsa has also been taking care of our little one at nights since our little one was only days old. Our baby had been at NICU and was only 37 weeks old so we were a bit worried about having someone else take care of her. We quickly forgot any reservations as Hamsa is great with babies (and kids). She is so gentle with the baby and very knowledgeable.

Hamsa is very experienced and offers a lot of advice when asked. She has always been respectful of our preferences and requests. Under her guidance and care our now three month old baby is sleeping through the night! Baby was always kept happy, no crying it out, just slowly adjusting feeding times and naps.

Hamsa was with us and our baby girl for about 4 months working the night shift. Hamsa was our night nanny for our twin girls from birth until 9 months of age. She was always on-time and never missed a day, and maintained great communication with us. She took initiative (e.g., folding laundry for the girls, purchasing notebooks to track their day/night schedules), and was extremely flexible, staying with our family for a lot longer than initially discussed due to unexpected difficulties sleep training them. Hamsa is lovely. She helps watch our two young kids for date night. Hamsa swoops in with her warm and loving charm and I know my kiddos are in good hands. She has also gone above and beyond by helping around the house here and there, so we come home to a house after our time away. We wanted to hire her FT but unfortunately she already was committed! Hamsa worked for us nannying our 5 month old baby for about 5 months, and has also babysat for us. She was very flexible and understanding when we had schedule changes. She is very knowledgeable about kids and jumps right in to take care of them. We will definitely continue to use her for babysitting and would recommend her!

Hamsa is the perfect sitter. I could not have asked for anyone better to watch my baby. This was my first time hiring a sitter outside of my family and I was so nervous, didn't know what to expect, didn't know what the learning curve would be for my LO, but from the first minute she came in she adjusted perfectly. She's extremely punctual, knock on my door exactly at 9am every day. My baby loved her, and my baby honestly still has a hard time with some of her grandparents. She played with my baby for the entire time, got her to eat more food than I could ever, kept her and her area super clean, everything was well taken care of, sung to her, read to her, taught her little things like knocking on the wall. It was a dream. The baby sitting gods smiled down on me I told my family. Lol. We're planning another child in a couple years and I hope she'll be available for us then. Hamsa is every bit as wonderful as all of her reviews suggest. She watched my girls for a few hours while I was at an appointment. She had a gentle nature with them, was really involved, playful, and so so kind. They made play doh, made a little mini amusement park with pillows, and played so many other fun things. Some people just have a natural way with kids, and Hamsa definitely has that ease. My two year old kept begging her to come back by the time it was time for her to go. We will definitely use her again if we need another sitter. Thank you, Hamsa, for taking such good care of my girls and having so much fun with them!
